A women was walking cautiously down a dark alleyway, trying to get home as quickly as she could to avoid any conflict.
As she rushed, she heard strange noises, almost like an echoing voice telling her where to go. She knew this wasn't right
and began to run through the dimly lit alley; only to finally reach the end, seeing a man, dressed in black, appearing almost
as a shadow. Being paralyzed with fear the woman never had even the slightest chance of escape. The man drew near to her,
never once speaking a word of what was about to take place. Forcing her down onto the cold, wet pavement, he proceeded to
defile her body dispite her pleads to stop. After finishing his work, he dragged his tongue up her chest to her neck, where
he slowly sank his fangs into her tender flesh. Her cries of torture came to an end as the life flowed out of her form. Feeling
he had done this woman a favor, he left her there, violated and bleeding, barely alive. Later that night, hearing his wife
was in the hospital due to rapid bloodloss from a puncture wounds in the side of her neck; he hurried to the hospital, hearing
his wife's mutterings of a vampire and if anything will come of the horrible deed that being did. Not thinking this were the
case, the doctors let her go home after a few days. There were no problems until she found that she was to have a child, but
her husband thought nothing of that night having anything to do with her pregnancy, and nine months later she delivered a
healthy baby girl. They named her Rose and their small family seemed happy enough until finding out their first born, now
5 year old girl was a halfling. They couldn't understand why she had almost monthly fits, not eating anything; discovering
small dead animals in their backyard around this time as well, and why, no matter how much time she spent in the sun, her
skin still remained horribly pale. This newly contained information, turned her once loving parents against her; not wanted
her to be part of their fully human family. They denounced her immediately and sent her to live in a boarding home, hoping
that she would, at least, be adopted by someone who would actually wants something like that in their household. Of course,
noone wished to have a half vampire living under the same roof. As soon as Rose turned 15, she left the boarding home and
went out to live alone in the world, seeking to know both her human heritage as well as her vampiric one.
