George is a very little known alchemist.. never wanting fame or big fortune, staying in a small town where she dabbles in the art of organic alchemy. This means she will only transmute that which was not man made; such as plants, water, snow, anything pertaining to nature, thus her title of "Natural Alchemist". Many, however believe that she is, in fact, her uncle whom she was named after and now takes care of in the small home just outside of a city in Amestris. George feels this mistake on everyone else's part benefits her more than becoming a State Alchemist or accused of fraud because she shares the name of a better known alchemist.
